Toy Robots

I had a private client who purchased some images from me once, and then one day he contacted me out of the blue to ask if I would consider photographing his extensive collection of classic toy robots, so that he could pick out a few images to enlarge and hang on his wall. He added that he saw my images of car parts and thought that I could bring that same sensibility to his robot collection. I agreed, and many playful images transpired, and they were often reminiscent of stop-motion animations, like the Gumby shows.
