Choices, choices, choices...

There are many ways to price photography. Unfortunately, some studios price their services beyond reach for the average family. Equally unfortunate are the bait-and-switch pricing tactics, poor service, and "fine print" of some department stores. Classy Portraits prefers a fee schedule that is more attainable and fair for all parties involved.

You are mainly paying for fine art photography services, not for pieces of paper. It is important that you understand this, because it is our experience and expertise that will make your session memorable, not a stack of glossy paper. What goes into the making of a beautiful photograph? It's not only the time and care we take with your family; it's not only the shots that we capture when we click the shutter; it's the consultative method and expert post-processing work we do that gives you a "wow" experience and the "lifetime of magical images" that is our heart-felt motto. We use digital enhancements to create works of art, and so you are not just getting our undivided attention during the shooting session, but also for some hours after the session, when we work the magic into your prints.

We try to keep it very simple. A basic fine-art portrait session starts at $299.

Your Basic Session Includes:

  • Color, or black and white, or a mix of final images.
  • No set limits on the number of images captured during the session.
  • Choose one image from proofs for final fine art print.
  • Proofs: All usable images, on CD slideshow, yours to keep
  • Basic Package: One 8x10, Two 5x7s, and Eight wallet size on glossy or matte paper (Fuji Crystal Archive
  • Other sizings are available. Please ask.

Session Time: Up to one-and-half hours of photography time.

All final images receive basic retouching and artistic digital enhancement as part of the package. However, you may wish to minimize some imperfections (don't worry, we all have some!), or request special handling of certain features. Please talk with us about these concerns and we'll suggest options. Extra retouching does incur an extra service fee, but if you speak with us we can find ways to minimize or eliminate the need for it!
